Miss Sharnae

Miss Sharnae Tamehana

Hip Hop

Miss Sharnae has been teaching at RDA alongside Miss Rosanna since opening in 2011 but her passion for dance started at a very young age and it wasn’t actually in hip-hop, in fact at the age of 3 she started Ballet and Tap and from then over time she expanded her genres of dance to jazz, funk, contemporary and slow modern. It was not until she was around 9 years of age where she started taking an interest to hip-hop and as years progressed Miss Sharnae found that this was not only her strongest genre of dance but also the one she enjoyed and loved the most. Over the years she continued to expand her knowledge of different genres of dance through high school and worked hard to improve her technique, choreography and performance skills. Miss Sharnae now also manages an all-boys dance crew as well as teaching our junior & senior hip hop classes.

The following list shows a couple of the experiences and highlights that Sharnae has been involved in:

  • Captain of the Claver Jnr Elite dance team
